Four designation courses are coming to Salt Lake City September 12 and 13. The courses will be offered prior to NAHB's Fall Board of Directors Meeting. Now, you have the opportunity to take a course—or two—to learn about a particular building topic or to complete or renew your designation.
The courses being offered in Salt Lake City are:
Train the Trainer – September 12
Instructor: Beverly Koehn, CGA, GMB,CAPS
This course is designed for building industry professionals who wish to teach The NAHB University of Housing curriculum. Participants will learn how to prepare and present adult education sessions and enhance their presentation skills. Limited to first 10 registrants.

Effective Marketing on a Shoestring Budget – September 12

Designing for the Active Adult – September 13

By the year 2010 there will be 77 million active adults age 50 and older living in the U.S. This one-day course gives you an overview of design considerations to take into account when planning single-family and multifamily housing for active adults.

Sales and Marketing – September 13
