Insulating Concrete Forms Association Elects Board Members
The Insulating Concrete Form Association (ICFA) elected three new members to the Board of Directors, and re-elected four current directors, at ICFA’s Annual Fall Meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin October 23, 2006.
New directors are Jeff Alexander, Greenblock Worldwide; EJ Parks, Eco-Block, LLC; and Cameron Ware, Futurestone, LLC. Current members re-elected were Patrick Murphy, American Polysteel, LLC; Joe Casassa, Huntsman Expandable Polymers Company, LC; Jim Niehoff, Portland Cement Association; and Dean Seibert, Wind-Lock Corporation.
Additionally, Joe Casassa was elected Vice-Chairman of the Board and Kent Stumpe of BASF Wall Systems, Inc. assumed Chairmanship of the ICFA Board of Directors.

The National Concrete Masonry Association's 2007 Resource Guide Now Available
The 2007 NCMA Resource Guide contains a complete listing of NCMA services including publications available from NCMA and laboratory research and testing services with discounted prices for NCMA members. Hard copies of the 2007 guide have been included in the January monthly mailing. A digital file in PDF format has been posted on the NCMA web site home page. Click here to download. Seventeen New NAHB Instructors Trained
The National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) and the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) recently held the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Train-the-Trainer class NCMA headquarters in Herndon, Virginia.
Seventeen were in attendance and are now in the process of being authorized to deliver NAHB's “Best Practices for Concrete Pavers and Segmental Retaining Wall Systems” and “Concrete Masonry Home Building” courses to home builders. To provide additional NCMA members the opportunity to deliver these educational opportunities, NCMA will coordinate several sessions of the NAHB Train-the-Trainer course in 2007.
