Hands-on Best Practices for Paver Installation

Developed specifically for Hardscape North America by the School for Advanced Segmental Paving, a two-session course on Hands-On application of industry guidelines and "best practices" for constructing segmental pavements” will be presented at the trade show and will cover all aspects of a typical residential project. The indoor portions will provide the background and framework for the class and the Hands-On outdoor activity will be the major portion of the training.

“This class will be excellent for anyone wishing to refresh or learn "best practices" or to evaluate the school for additional training,” said ICPI Chairman Joe Bowen. “The class is limited to 12 students to ensure quality training and a Hands-on experience,” he added.

Hardscape North America, the national hardscape tradeshow produced by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute and endorsed by the National Concrete Masonry Association and the Brick Industry Association, will be held March 7-10, 2007 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. The tradeshow will offer products, technology and knowledge for the hardscaping professional through educational seminars, exhibits and certification courses.

The program will include top-notch seminars on people and business management, site efficiency and sales and marketing as well as paver installer and SRW certification courses.  The exhibit floor will feature over 150 booths, displaying state-of-the-art products and equipment. In addition to the indoor floor space, there will be an outdoor exhibit area where contractors will be able to “touch and feel” tools and where exhibitors can showcase their equipment in typical site conditions. Hardscape North America will also provide excellent opportunities for contractors to network with key manufacturers and suppliers of hardscaping products, construction equipment, vehicles and services.
