Weather-Proof "Fortified" Homes Wednesday 2/13 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM          West 307	Student builders, the Safe Home Illinois program of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago/Illinois Emergency Management Agency and the Institute for Business & Home Safety united together to develop an affordable weather-tight home.
Introduction to ICF Technology Thursday 2/14 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM               South 330 E-H	This 90-minute presentation explores the basics of ICF technology, variations between products, integration of other trades and acceptance by codes. Resources for more information about manufacturers, design tools and research are discussed.
Designing the Concrete Home Friday 2/15  3:30 PM—5:00 PM             West 304 E - H	An in-depth analysis of design strategies for RCF (Removable Concrete Form) and ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) homes. What is different for the designer when designing a concrete home and what you need to know when converting to concrete.
What Went Wrong & Why: Concrete Troubleshooting Saturday 2/16 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM             South 330 E-H	This session addresses real-life problems that may occur when using concrete as a building material. See the impact caused by inadequacies in design, construction, and maintenance practices.
