Keep your calendar free from November 6-10, 2005 when the ultimate resource in the building systems industry, SHOWCASE 05, is held in Louisville, Kentucky. New for this year are two great courses involving the advantages of building with concrete. (Registration for SHOWCASE 05 is not necessary to take these courses.)

Cast-in-place Concrete Foundations (Reg Form) - November 9

This interesting half day course gives you all the necessary tools to work with cast-in-place concrete – the most popular method for constructing durable and economical foundation walls. Being held on Wednesday, November 9 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm, you'll learn everything you need to know about evaluating site conditions, working with concrete, and evaluating common field practices.

Building with Insulating Concrete Forms (Reg Form) - November 10

If you're not familiar with Insulating Concrete Forms, this course is an excellent introduction. ICFs are a popular and fast growing new method of constructing high-performance exterior walls for a home. On Thursday, November 10, this full-day course covers all the information you need to evaluate and start using ICFs.
