ICPI New Advanced Certifications

On Thursday, March 1 the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) launched three new advanced certifications for concrete paver installers and contractors—ICPI Level II Concrete Paver Installer, ICPI Level II Graduate and ICPI Concrete Paver Business Professional.  Although the certifications are designed for paver industry professionals, concrete-based building resource professionals will also find these courses of value to fulfill their own CEU requirements.

Over 100 new advanced business courses as part of the Concrete Paver Business Professional program through a portal that is hosted by “Business Training Library.”  Registrants for the Concrete Paver Business Professional program will also receive their first course “Creating and Analyzing an Operating Budget” free of charge.

ICPI will continue to expand its advanced course selection through 2008.  In 1993 the ICPI Level I Certification began and today there are now more than 13,000 ICPI Level I Concrete Paver Installers who have advanced their knowledge of proper installation and construction guidelines of interlocking concrete pavements.  For the benefit of builders and consumers, ICPI has created a searchable database of all ICPI certified concrete paver installers.  For additional information on ICPI, and its continuing education courses, please visit www.icpi.org
