For the second year in a row, the Concrete Home Building Council will host the National Association of Home Builder's Train the Trainer class at the World of Concrete on Monday January 21 from 8 am - 5pm in Room S228.  With such a successful showing in 2007, the CHBC is eager to host what hopes to be an annual event for WOC attendees.

NAHB's Train the Trainer class is a pre-requisite for any individual interested in becoming an NAHB certified instructor.  With ten concrete classes available through the CHBC and a growing popularity in residential concrete construction, nationally certified instructors are in high demand.

Through national events and local HBA’s the CHBC, along with the Home Builder's Institute of NAHB is pleased to offer the following concrete related education classes:

1.       Concrete Troubleshooting
2.       Handling Moisture Behind Brick Veneers
3.       Pavers & Segmental Retaining Wall
4.       Concrete Masonry Home Building
5.       Disaster Mitigation
6.       Insulating Concrete Form Installation
7.       Precast Concrete
8.       Building with ICF’s
9.       Cast-In-Place Concrete Construction
10.     Fiber Cement Siding (piloted November 07)

During this 8-hour Train the Trainer class attendees learn how to prepare and present adult education sessions while having a chance to practice presentation skills in the classroom with instructor feedback and guidance.

Because of the intensive training involved, this course is limited to only ten attendees – first come, first serve.  Register today to reserve your seat!
