New this year … You’ll take part in a unique educational experience during Saturday’s lunch sponsored by the Brick Industry Association. Join notable speakers and custom builders in an interactive discussion on how to thrive in a changing market. The session will include a Q&A and discussion issues will be picked up at the Roundtables later that afternoon. [return to top]
Fun and Networking
You’ll want to come to Las Vegas before the symposium kicks off, not just to enjoy the fabulous nightlife the city is known for, but to join in the fun networking opportunities NAHB has planned.

On Thursday, the golf tournament, sponsored by Broan-NuTone, at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Reflection Bay golf course (named by Golf Magazine as one of the “Top 10 You Can Play”), beckons golfers of all skill levels with a scramble format.

Next day, participants will be treated to a tour of custom homes in this celebrity city on the Andersen-sponsored Home Tour. You’ll gain great ideas and insights by seeing homes in all stages of construction, from framing to completely furnished.

New This Year!  Join fellow attendees and sponsors for the revamped Welcome Reception.  You’ll not only get a chance to network with custom builders from all over the nation, but we’re going to take you on a Vegas-style gaming experience as part of the reception. It will be loads of fun … so, don’t miss this year’s Welcome Reception.

You’ll have even more opportunities to network with custom builders from around the country at a Saturday evening 20 Club Reception and at roundtable discussions about industry issues that matter to you! [return to top]

Pre-Symposium Courses
In addition to the first-rate education the symposium is known for, attendees can take advantage of courses offered through NAHB’s University of Housing, and take the BAR assessment, a prerequisite for earning your U of H designation.

The following courses will be offered concurrently from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday:  Effective Marketing on a Shoestring Budget, Financial Management, and Customer Service. [return to top]
