The evening served as a time to reconnect with old friends; meet the newest class of CAPS, CGRs, and GMRs; celebrate the new GMR designation; and honor this year’s accomplishments.
“It is a great testament to the industry and NAHB to see our CGR and CAPS numbers growing at the rate that they are” said Daryl Kemp, CGR, CAPS, GMB.
“We’re thrilled to be holding the first graduation of our new Graduate Master Remodeler designation. By obtaining these designations we are telling the industry and homeowners that we are THE pre-eminent professionals of remodeling industry, we hold ourselves to the highest standards, and that CGRs, GMRs and CAPS are uniquely qualified to make your dream home a reality” added Bob Peterson, CGR, CAPS, CGP.
The evening was a graduation success with 11 new CAPS graduates in attendance to “walk” and be formally congratulated at graduation. The CAPS designation graduated a total of 556 CAPS in 2008; which is a substantial increase compared to 2007 when 468 CAPS graduated. The CAPS designation now stands at 2,208 active members and one of NAHB’s fastest growing and most popular designations.
Congratulations to all of the CAPS, CGR and GMR graduates!
