Get EPA Certified with Lead Paint Training Courses at IBS

The EPA's new Lead: Renovation, Repair and Painting rule will become mandatory in April 2010. If you do almost any kind of construction or installation work inside homes or child-occupied facilities built before 1978, you need to know what to do to be in compliance with this new rule. Better yet, get EPA certified and let your clients know!

NAHB is offering two courses that lead to EPA Certified Renovator qualification.

  • Part One: Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting – Offered once on Sunday, January 17, 9:00 am – 2:30 pm. This course must be completed, or proof of completion elsewhere submitted, in order to take Part Two.
  • Part Two: Hands-On Training for Renovation, Repair and Painting – Offered three times: Sunday, January 17, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm; Monday, January 18, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
