CGR Pin Recognizes Longevity in the Remodeling Industry

The CGR Board of Governors is proud to present CGR designation holders with a longevity pin. Earning a designation in your chosen industry is a big step toward rising to your next level of professionalism. And maintaining that designation over a long period of time shows your professional dedication to serving your clients.

The longevity pin modifiies the current CGR pin to include a blue stone for every continuing education cycle you have completed; for example, if you have been through two continuing education cycles (six years as a CGR), your pin will have two stones on it.

Wearing and promoting the new CGR longevity pins can spark conversation about a remodeler's tenure in the industry, their expertise and their ability to provide their customers with a more accomplished remodeling experience.

CGR Board of Governors Chairman Scott Sevon, CGR, CAPS, GMB, recently met with a perspective client and got into a discussion on the designations a professional can earn.. “We talked about how I have had my CGR designation for 12 years now, which will soon be acknowledged by a longevity pin.," he said. "I couldn’t have summarized the importance of this recognition better than my client, who noted that 'ongoing education and the longevity of the ongoing education is a vital component for any remodeler who is going to work on my home.’” [ return to top ]
