Greensboro/High Point: Construction Jobs Drop Sharply
North Carolina's Greensboro/High Point metropolitan area experienced a 20% drop in nonresidential construction employment in August compared with numbers a year ago, according to the Associated General Contractors of America. However, some contractors in the area say business is improving. They also said they are more optimistic about the ability to secure credit than contractors in other parts of North Carolina. Phoenix: Opportunity Corridor Knocked by Recession
