NAHB Member Call to Action

A service of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Home Technology Alliance (HTA) is an initiative formed to serve as a resource for NAHB’s membership on matters related to electronic integration and home technology products and services for the housing industry. The HTA is committed to providing education that demonstrates how electronic integration and home technology services can improve the quality, marketability and value of homes built and remodeled by the housing industry.

NAHB is asking that all home builders (Custom, Small Volume, Production, Multifamily), remodelers, associates and installers who are currently involved in home technologies or are interested in additional information contact the HTA. In addition, Executive Officers, Women's Council and 20 Club members are also highly encouraged to participate and share HTA resources with their stakeholders.

• HGTVPro Webisodes – in development by the HTA, these Webisodes feature differing home technology product options and educates builders and remodelers on home technology business opportunities
• IRM Home Technology Course - in development by The NAHB University of Housing, this provides education on home technology options, profit building techniques and an overview of the installation process for home technology options in building and remodeling projects
• Education Sessions – creates and provides educational sessions, panels and resources on home technologies and structured wiring geared toward the residential building industry
• Information Resource – serves as a central repository of information to NAHB’s membership that on electronic integration and home technology products
