A Revenue Generator and an Attendee Favorite: The Bookstore-in-a-Box Program

Bookstore-in-a-Box is another great way to generate additional revenue for your association. This program offers local associations the opportunity to set-up and run a bookstore at their local or regional trade show. This means that sales from the show stay with the HBA. Local associations receive deep discounts when purchasing books to resell.

Use BuilderBooks authors for your educational programs to help drive product sales through your trade show web site. Many authors participate in the BuilderBooks Speakers Bureau. Highlight your bookstore in advance by promoting

GM NAHB $500 Private Offer: As Easy as 1-2-3

You can help members retrieve their authorization numbers by following these simple steps.

Create a Username and Password

Click on the GM logo from www.nahb.org/ma and click on the authorization number link
Hit the continue button under the heading “Obtain username and password to receive authorization to purchase”
Enter last name, first name, street number (note, this needs to be the street number they have on file with your HBA) and zip code
Page will pre-populate with your member’s information. Enter email address and create a username and password (note, each must be 8 characters)

Obtain and Authorization Number

Once login is complete your member will be taken to a page where he/she is greeted by his/her first name.

To obtain authorization number, click on the text “GM Select Trade Association Private Offer” on the left hand side of the page.
Enter date of birth (00/00/0000 format), zip code and purchaser information (either self or member of household) as long as person is living under the same roof, he/she is eligible.
Confirm information that pre-populates
Print authorization number page and give to dealer
