Preliminary NCHI Agenda for Spring Board of Directors Meeting

Hilton Washington Towers Hotel - Washington, D.C.
June 5-10

The following is the scheduled dates and times for the NCHI meetings and the NAHB Board Meetings during the NAHB 2007 Spring Board of Director’s Meetings. As meeting dates and times are subject to change, please reconfirm the schedule in the program guide you receive at the NAHB registration desk.

Tuesday, June 5                  

11:00am-3:00pm:  NAHB Executive Board Meeting (NCHI Co-Chairs Only).  NCHI members can observe.  (TBD)

Wednesday, June 6            

The NAHB legislative Conference will be taking place all day. NAHB builder members from across the country will be calling on their legislators and lobbying on housing industry issues.   Should you be interested in participating in this lobbying effort, please contact the Executive Officer of your local homebuilders association since this event is organized at the local grassroots level.

3:30-4:30pm:  NAHB Housing CenterTour for NCHI Members - A shuttle bus is provided and will be departing from the Hilton Washington Hotel Terrace (lower) Level entrance at 3:00pm.  The shuttle bus will return to the Hilton Washington Hotel at 5:00pm.

5:00–7:00pm:  The Legislative Conference Reception is sponsored by NCHI. All NCHI members are encouraged to attend this networking event with hundreds of builder members of NAHB.  Location: Hilton Washington Towers, (room location TBD)

7:30-9:30pm:  NCHI Suppliers Night Out – Walk over to the pub (location TBD) to mingle with your fellow NCHI members. The atmosphere is very casual, with food and beverage on your own.   

Thursday, June 7

Various NAHB and NCHI Committee and Council Meetings will be occurring all day.

NCHI / 9:00-10:30am:  NCHI Sub-Committees Working Meeting / Education/Membership/Public Affairs/Building Materials/Government Affairs / Location: Hilton Washington Towers, (room location TBD)

NCHI / 11:00am -12:30pm    NCHI Make the Most of Your Membership - Gain valuable insight on how to make the most of your NCHI membership. This session will be informative for new and old members alike.  Location: Hilton Washington Towers, (room location TBD)

NCHI /2:00-3:30pm:  NCHI-The New American Home 2008/09 Task Force Meetings / Location: Hilton Washington Towers (room location TBD)

Friday, June 8

Various NAHB and NCHI Committee and Council Meetings will be occurring all day.

NCHI / 10:30am-1:00pm:  NCHI General Membership Meeting / Location: Hilton Washington Towers, (room location TBD)

NCHI / 1:30-4:00pm:  NCHI Board of Trustees Meeting (Lunch Served for Trustees). Location: Hilton Washington Towers, (room location TBD)

Saturday, June 9

NAHB / 1:00-6:00pm:  NAHB Board of Directors (NCHI Members are invited to observe).  Location: Hilton Washington Towers International Ballroom, Concourse Level      

Sunday, June 10
