Get Connected Here's How
NAHB has recently added members-only functionality to www.nahb.org that will help you to better manage your HBA, SMC, and education programs. NSMC eNews guides you through some simple steps to get access to all the valuable information on the members-only section of the NAHB Web site.
How do I access the members-only content on the new NAHB Web site? If you are logging onto the web site for the first time, go to www.nahb.org, click on Member Log In, and follow the simple instructions.
What is the fastest way to find information about NSMC or IRM? There are three ways to quickly find NSMC or IRM information.
Go to www.nahb.org/nsmc
Go to www.nahb.org and click the Community tab
Or use the Search box in the upper right corner of any page on the site.
What NSMC and IRM Resources can I expect to find in the NSMC/IRM section of the Web site? You will find NSMC benefit flyers to use at your membership meetings, New Member Council Enrollment Form (in MS Word format), sample MIRM case studies, details on the IRM designation program, back issues of NSMC eNews, sponsor information, details about SMI magazine, membership certificate template, NSMC/IRM Product Order Form, NSMC/IRM committee descriptions, minutes from NSMC/IRM board and committee meetings, and more. Check back often — new resources are added regularly.
How can I tell the difference between content for the public and content that is for members only? Members-only content will have the blue NAHB eagle next to it.
Where can I find IRM instructors, speakers for my next SMC meeting, MIRMs and CMPs in my state, and marketing and sales consultants? Go to the Electronic IRM Member Directory at www.nahb.net/MIRM and insert your search terms.
Is there an electronic version of the New Member Council Enrollment Form? Yes, in the NSMC/IRM Resources for SMCs section. You must be logged in as a member to access this document.
Where can I find the University of Housing Course Schedule? Search the latest course offerings at the University of Housings’ course database.
How can I stay informed about NAHB and housing industry news? NAHB now has more than 15 electronic newsletters for members and non-members on a variety of topics. These newsletters are generated within the councils, public affairs, and other departments at NAHB. For more information, visit the Publications section of www.nahb.org.
