Unlock Your Potential Through IBS Education
New home sales and marketing is a fast-paced and ever-changing profession. New marketing ideas, customer service methods, and sales techniques are constantly emerging, which help increase your sales and grow your business. But how do you stay on top of all of this information?

By participating in courses and seminars and earning industry-recognized professional designations.

Attend the 2004 International Builders’ Show (IBS) to unlock your potential and reach the next level of your career through National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC) and Institute of Residential Marketing (IRM) courses and convention seminars.

At IBS, begin earning your Certified New Home Marketing Professional (CMP) or Member, Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) designation by completing IRM I and II. Or attend one of the many seminars taught by MIRMs and industry leaders. You will also have the opportunity to network with these industry leaders and learn how IRM designations will launch your career. Finally, stop by the NSMC (C5382) and University of Housing (on-site area) booths for more information on IRM designations.

The University of Housing booth will offer prizes and gifts in anticipation of “Destination Designation” – National Designation Month, February 2004. This month will celebrate achievements and encourage education participants to complete requirements in designation programs. If you’ve already started working on a professional designation, make the commitment to finish your course work or case study when you return from IBS.

If you need further incentive to complete your designation, the financial rewards of these education programs are unparalleled. A past president of IRM, Roger Fiehn, MIRM, studied the compensation of those who earned the MIRM designation and found the first year compensation was 10.8% higher over those without the MIRM designation. Fiehn says, “As I explain to the builders the CSP, CMP, and particularly MIRM designations are your best insurance against failure.”

Make IBS and the month of February as a “Destination Designation” to grow your earning potential, enhance your professional image, and launch your career.
