- IRM Courses
For the first time, The NAHB University of Housing is offering all four IRM courses, as well as House Construction as a Selling Tool and Essential Closing Strategies. New this year! When you register for the International Builders’ Show (IBS), you should also register for the pre-Show education courses at the same time. Click here to register for both IBS and the pre-Show courses.
- If you’re new to NSMC or IRM, we invite you to the First Timers Orientation and Welcome Meeting on Monday, Jan. 9 at 8:45 a.m., held in West 224F, Level II at the Orange County Convention Center.

- Fiesta Havana: NSMC and IRM Networking Event

Come enjoy an evening of extraordinary cuisine, irresistible live music with an intoxicating beat, professional Latin dancers beckoning for a salsa, expert Cuban cigar rollers creating world-class cigars, and a mysterious fortune teller offering glimpses into your future—all in a strikingly festive atmosphere beneath a gorgeous, starry sky. - IRM Commencement Breakfast
7:30-9:30 a.m.
The IRM Commencement Breakfast (formerly the MIRM Breakfast) honors new Master CSP, CMP, and MIRM designees. Get inspired by the energy and motivation of speaker Buck “Ballistic” Burney, and enjoy breakfast, the awards presentation, and graduation ceremony. Register online.
- The Nationals – The National Sales and Marketing Awards
5:00-11:00 p.m.
Start your day off with the IRM Commencement Breakfast and end it with this gala awards program honoring the best in new home sales, marketing, and design. Tickets are now available to the 25th anniversary event at www.thenationals.com.
January 12
- Super Sales Rally and Sales Management Summit
9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
West 320, Auditorium
Nothing happens until somebody sells something, and NSMC’s Super Sales Rally (9:00 to 12:30) and Sales Management Summit (1:30 to 5:30) will motivate salespeople and sales managers. This high-octane event will give insight into super sales techniques from the industry’s best salespeople and sales trainers.

- NSMC and IRM Booth
Stop by the NSMC and IRM booth at 8049 West – outside of the West E-F Lobby. It’s the same location as last year, but will offer new information and resources for members and prospective members. Visit NSMC and IRM Trustees and meet NAHB staff.
- Sales and Marketing Educational Sessions
With more than 40 sales and marketing educational sessions at IBS, you will have myriad opportunities to learn from the nation’s top experts in new home sales and marketing. Whether you want to learn about marketing for small-volume builders, how to maximize your media campaigns, effectively use design centers, putting market research to work for you, builder-broker relationships, and more – IBS has it covered. Sessions run daily during show floor hours.

PLEASE NOTE: The published IBS housing deadline of December 16th has passed. All official International Builders’ Show hotels are now sold out. For new hotel accommodations, please complete the registration process, and then contact the Orlando Convention & Visitors Bureau for assistance in finding hotel accommodations in alternative properties by calling 800-643-0482.
After December 27th, please contact the hotels directly to change/cancel an existing reservation.
