Presented by the NAHB 50+ Housing Council, Building for Boomers & Beyond will take place May 30–June 1 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Join us in this hot active adult market for the ultimate learning experience.

Three Housing Tours

This year’s conference features several new events, including three housing tours focusing on different segments of the market: Active Adult, Service-Enriched, and Transit-Oriented Development.

Educational Programs

Building for Boomers & Beyond’s educational programs cover design, multifamily, operations, planning, sales and marketing, and more. More than 35 breakout sessions are scheduled, as well as three full-day education courses: Designing for the Active Adult, Selling to Active Adults, and Smart Planning for Active Adult Communities.

Speakers

This year’s keynote speaker is Andrew Zolli, a foresight and global trends expert who analyzes critical trends at the intersection of culture, technology, and global society. Zolli will give a talk entitled Life in a Long-Lived World: What Increased Longevity Means for Work, Life and Society.

Sarah Susanka, renowned author, architect, and cultural visionary, will speak at the general session. Susanka’s “build better, not bigger” approach to residential architecture has been embraced by homeowners, architects and builders across the country and her “Not So Big” philosophy has sparked an international dialogue.

Building for Boomers & Beyond also features several networking and social events, including a kick-off reception, cocktail reception, "Denver Day Out," and an optional Colorado Rockies baseball game and pre-game picnic. The Best of 50+ Housing Awards also will be held during the Symposium, at a gala evening event.
