Membership Defenders Unite on May 19 -- Earn Double Spike Points from March to May
National Membership Day 2009 will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009!
How can your local SMC and HBA make the most of its membership drive? Hold it in conjunction with NAHB’s National Membership Day!
Start planning for National Membership Day!
- Make sure your HBA is signed up to participate in the 2009 membership campaign, Membership Defenders, Unite! Please visit www.nahb.org/membershipdefenders and fill out the Participation Pledge.
- Get volunteers and start recruiting! Visit www.NAHB.org/membershipdefenders for helpful tips and techniques.
- On Tuesday, May 19, call 800-899-6242 with your new member totals between 12 noon and 5 p.m. ET.
- Submit your May membership report by May 31, 2009.
- Submit the Individual Recruiter tracking form by June 5, 2009.
SMC Competitions
NSMC will award a $200 credit voucher for University of Housing student materials to the top SMC in each group size. NSMC will recognize all winners at the Fall Board Meeting and in Sales + Marketing Ideas and NSMC eNews.
SMC Group Sizes
Group 1: 10-49 members
Group 2: 50-99 members
Group 3: 100-249 members
Group 4: 250+ members
SMC Individual Recruiter Competition
- All individuals recruiting four or more new SMC members will receive a Membership Defenders stainless steel thermos.
- All members will receive DOUBLE Spike credits for March, April and May for every new SMC member they recruit during those months.
