The Charlotte, N.C. division of national production builder KB Home was recently awarded the nation’s latest NHQ Certified Builder designation after successfully completing the rigorous requirements of the program in March. KB Home is currently the only NHQ Certified builder operating in North Carolina, with other certified divisions located in Raleigh and Durham.

KB Home has been a pioneer in the NHQ Program since its launch, with a total of 28 NHQ Certified local divisions across the country. In November 2003, KB Home Chairman and CEO Bruce Karatz announced that the company would become the first large builder in the country to implement the NHQ Certified Trade Contractor program nationwide.
