Diaster Relief Resources Available

It's wildfire season again and several states including Arizona, Alaska, Nevada, California and Florida are already feeling the deadly effects of fires in their communities. HBA leadership should be aware that NAHB has a number of online resources available to help our locals with disaster preparedness and recovery.

Whether your situation involves a hurricane, flood, earthquake or fire, NAHB is ready to assist you. For just one example, the Public Affairs Department can help with radio ad scripts and talking points to advise homeowners about hiring qualified contractors for rebuilding. NAHB also has an on-staff building codes expert who specializes in disaster assistance efforts, contact Ken Ford, at 800-368-5242 x8228.
