Promoting Active, Stable Membership Featured at NAHB Membership Conference
How to cultivate an active and stable membership — requirements in a competitive marketplace if local associations are to succeed and grow — is the focus of NAHB’s 2007 National Membership Conference at the Westin Hotel in Charlotte, N.C. on Oct. 12-14.
Some of the industry’s most knowledgeable membership professional will provide tips and information about how to foster stronger memberships.
Donna Oliver, NAHB director of affiliate services, will discuss how to membership professionals can leverage their skills to motivate their membership. She also will encourage attendees to share ideas about what works at their associations.
“The membership conference is a great place to network,” Oliver said. “I’m looking forward to learning about what is going on in other areas of the country and picking up plenty of new ideas.”
