Call for Testimonials About Remodeling Relationships

Did you know that the NAHB Remodelers has a PowerPoint presentation, “Remodeling Relationships: Your Guide to Maximizing Your Membership”? This presentation educates Associates about the value of their involvement in their local Remodelers Council.

We’re looking for your feedback to include in the latest update of this presentation. Give us your testimonial about how you’ve mastered the Associate–Remodeler relationship to make the most of your council membership and your comments (with appropriate credit) just might be featured in the presentation that will be used across the country!

If you are a Remodeler, please give us an example of how an Associate Member you know has maximized his or her membership.

Consider answering one of these questions, or provide your thoughts on the Associate–Remodeler relationship:

  • What is the value of your local Remodelers Council membership as an Associate or as a Remodeler?

  • How do you ensure success at council networking events?

  • What is it that makes Remodelers different from Builders? As an Associate, how does this change your relationship with Remodelers?

  • What are the keys to a successful relationship between Remodelers and Associates?

  • As an Associate, how has getting involved affected your business?

  • What is the difference between marketing yourself and selling yourself, and how does this factor into the council environment?

  • If you have assumed a leadership position within your local Remodelers Council, how has that helped you?

  • How has your CGA designation helped you in your local Remodelers Council? If you have not achieved your CGA yet, how many CGA-designation courses have you taken?

Send your testimonials to remodel@nahb.com.
