The Sales & Marketing Channel
NAHB’s National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC) recently launched an online new home sales and reference center to help home building sales and marketing professionals expand their knowledge and build their skills.

The reference center, called NAHB’s Sales & Marketing Channel, was unveiled at the 2006 International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla. and features articles and information from leading professionals on topics ranging from sales, marketing, advertising and branding to merchandising, public relations and sales training.

The channel also includes up-to-the-minute research and survey results as well as expert advice from industry veterans and insiders.

The channel is available free to NSMC members. For NAHB council members, the fee is $45 annually. For non-council members, the fee is $110. (The sales and marketing information and reference channel is only available to NAHB members.)

NSMC members can access the sales and marketing channel and online reference center by clicking here.

Members of other NAHB councils can find more information by clicking here. NAHB members who are not members of an NAHB council can find more information by clicking here.

Builder Optimism Rises for Rental Apartments but Declines for Condos
Builder confidence in the multifamily rental market surged in the fourth quarter of 2005, with strong consumer demand becoming evident in all segments, according to results of the National Association of Home Builders’ Multifamily Housing Market Index (MMI), released today. The same survey also found that multifamily builders do not expect consumer interest in condominiums to remain as intense as it has been in the recent past.
