Local 50+ Councils Bring in 61 New Members!

The NAHB 50+ Housing Council turned in a superb showing on National Membership Day, thanks to the recruiting efforts of its local and regional 50+ Housing Councils. The results have been tallied and the winners are as follows:

  • Top Local 50+ Housing Council — Greater Atlanta. Kudos to staff contact Tom O’Rourke and his members. The Greater Atlanta 50+ Housing Council barely edged out the 50+ Housing Council of the BIA of Southern California and the Maryland-National Capital BIA 50+ Housing Council for top honors and won a $250 voucher for The NAHB University of Housing course materials in the process.

  • Top Individual Recruiter — Vicki Clark of Vintage Senior Management in Newport Beach, Calif., was the No. 1 recruiter, bringing in a dozen new members to Southern California. Vicki won a complimentary registration to the Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium 2007 in Denver, Colo.

In all, the NAHB 50+ Housing Council and its local 50+ Housing Councils recruited 61 new members — the Council’s best effort in years. Individual recruiters who signed up three or more new members won a $25 American Express gift card.

Thanks to everyone who participated in National Membership Day! The 50+ Housing Council appreciates your efforts. [Return to top]
