The Best of 50+ Housing Awards: Denver 2007!

In 2007, The Best of Seniors Housing Awards will become The Best of 50+ Housing Awards. Several other exciting changes will elevate the program to even greater heights in 2007.

New name
The awards program will now be known as “The Best of 50+ Housing Awards” to reflect the current direction of the industry. You can still enter your best active adult, service-enriched and multifamily products, as well as your marketing materials promoting these projects.

New venue
The Best of 50+ Housing Awards will be presented on Thursday, May 31st as a special evening event during the Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium (May 30 through June 1, 2007) in Denver, Colo. This will give your winning entries targeted exposure to movers and shakers in the 50+ housing industry. There will be ample time to celebrate your achievements, as opposed to the many conflicting events at the International Builders’ Show.

New timeline
Because of the new date and venue for the awards program, the entry deadline, which was previously in September or October, will be March 1. Call for entries materials will be available at www.nahb.org/50plusawards in December.

We think these changes will benefit you and help bring even more recognition to your projects. Please bookmark the Web site www.nahb.org/50plusawards to keep up with all the news about the 2007 Best of 50+ Housing Awards. We look forward to receiving your entries!

Were you a winner at last year's awards? Keep that winning feeling going all year long by ordering duplicate awards. Prominently displaying your awards can build business by showing future homeowners that yours is an award-winning community.
