Virginia’s Fairfax County is investing in its senior and retired population as part of an initiative “to better serve and accommodate the county's increasing older population,” says this Washington Post article. The county’s committee on aging is examining the area’s transit system to see how it can be improved to increase the senior population’s involvement in the community.
