Local 50+ Housing Council News

The PennDel 50+ Housing Council is hosting its 2008 Trends Networking Breakfast on Friday, Jan. 11, at The Penthouse at The Phoenix Condominiums, 1600 Arch Street in Philadelphia. Topics include the following:

  • The real estate market: what’s real and what’s media hype
  • National vs. local and city vs. suburb
  • Trends in 55+ lifestyle communities
  • What’s new and what’s selling
  • The service-enriched marketplace: what’s the forecast and what’s hot.

Breakfast and networking will take place from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m., followed by the panel discussion from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. and a tour of The Phoenix models and amenities. Panelists include Paul Emrath, assistant staff vice president, NAHB’s Housing Policy Research Department; Virginia Jarden, regional vice president, Builders Marketing & Sales Group; Michael Kivov, director, Real Property Research Group; and Susan Brecht, president, Brecht Associates, Inc.
