NFL Great Archie Manning Headlines Building for Boomers & Beyond Symposium
NFL legend Archie Manning, father of Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning, will kick off the 2008 Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing SymposiumSM coming up May 19-21 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, La.
Manning’s keynote session is titled “Play Every Down: Demonstrating Leadership in Today’s Market.” Manning will speak of the four principles he lives by and why they are crucial in the business word. He also will discuss how to get the most of each member of your team.
Manning previously played with the New Orleans Saints and is the patriarch of football's "First Family," with all three sons involved in the sport. Oldest son, Cooper, was a wide receiver at the University of Mississippi. His other sons, Peyton and Eli, quarterbacked the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants, respectively, to the last two Super Bowl title games.
Manning’s appeal transcends his athletic achievements. Manning was named one of 10 outstanding New Orleanians by The Family Service of Greater New Orleans. He currently serves in public relations and consulting capacities for several companies and is involved in numerous charitable and civic causes.
Aside from Manning’s kickoff program, the 2008 Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing SymposiumSM features more than 35 sessions tied into this year’s theme, “Redefining Lifestyle Communities.” Different tracks at this year’s conference include design, development/operations, sales and marketing, trends, service-enriched and technology.
