The National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) 50+ Housing Council is in search of this year's Icons of the Industry.

The Icons of the Industry Awards program recognizes individuals of national stature for their leadership in creating communities, products, services and education programs targeted specifically for the 50+ housing market. 
  
Icons of the Industry recipients are chosen in the following categories:

• Builder-includes active adult and service-enriched builders and developers.
• Associate-who supports the industry via programs, products or services that promote excellence within the 50+ housing industry. The Associate category ican encompass the following:
  • Manufacturer of a product designed to enhance the lifestyle of mature market consumers
  • Educator or educational institution whose programs promote excellence within the 50+ housing industry
  • Lifetime achievement for a lifetime of contributions to the NAHB 50+ Housing Council and/or the 50+ housing industry

Icons winners are nominated and selected by the NAHB 50+ Housing Council's Icons of the Industry Selection Working Group. The Icons of the Industry award ceremony is held annually at the Best of 50+ Housing Awards Gala in conjunction with the NAHB 50+ Housing Council’s Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50 + Housing Symposium SM.
