Playing the Active Adult Game: Changing Rules and Exciting Opportunities

Current market conditions and the economy have changed the rules in the housing industry, and even the 50+ housing market, once thought to be untouchable, is no exception. Nationally recognized expert Mollie Carmichael, senior vice president for John Burns Real Estate Consulting, will discuss how the active adult model for success has been impacted.

Although many builders and consumers alike are having a difficult time at the moment, Carmichael encourages industry professionals to be diligent, especially with the biggest bulge of boomers still to come. Carmichael also will cover the changing housing mix, the different segments of 50+ consumers and the type of products and amenities they prefer. You’ll get a report card of the top 10 strongest active adult markets from coast to coast.

Industry professionals who have earned the Certified Active Adult Specialist in Housing (CAASH) designation will be inducted during a special ceremony and industry leaders will be recognized during this induction ceremony and networking dinner.
