Fees Reduced to Address Challenging Market; One-Day Pass Available

During these uncertain economic times, we understand that many in the housing industry are faced with the decision whether or not to attend industry events such as NAHB’s Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing SymposiumSM because of other obligations. It is important that we still have opportunities to come together to share our experiences and engage with each other—this will help all of us prepare for the upcoming recovery.

To that end, registration fees for the Symposium have been reduced by $300. The new advance registration fees, available until advance registration closes on Friday, April 3, are now:

50+ Housing Council member:   $395
NAHB member:   $445
Non-member:   $545

The deadline for reduced hotel rates at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott is March 26. View this page for hotel information and to reserve a room.

Conference registration includes:

• Admission to all education sessions – This year's breakout sessions provide the information you need—on trends, research, design, sales, marketing and more—to be miles ahead of the competition.
• Keynote Session & Economic Forecast – Learn the strategies that industry leaders are using to survive and succeed in this challenging market. And hear from NAHB Chief Economist, David Crowe, as he forecasts the future of the active adult and seniors housing markets.
• Closing Session – Builder Forum: Surviving the Slowdown, Planning Ahead for the Upturn – Our expert panel of builders, moderated by NAHB CEO Jerry Howard, will show how they are adapting and streamlining their businesses to cope with a complex market—from getting the financing, to dealing with the glut of inventory, to nudging hesitant boomer buyers off the fence and into new homes.
• Kick-off Reception — Catch up with old friends and meet new attendees at this festive get-together on Monday evening.
• Exhibit Hall — Visit our exhibitors to make connections, learn about new products, and establish valuable business relationships.
• Breakfast and lunch on the Exhibit Floor
• Cocktail Reception — Another great networking opportunity Tuesday evening.

While registration fees are being reduced, the quality of the Symposium is not! More than ever, you'll get the resources you need to develop concrete solutions to the problems you're facing—the latest economic forecast, the best products and technology to make you more efficient and competitive, advice from seasoned professionals who have been through several market cycles, and endless opportunities to engage with your peers from around the country.

For those with limited time who still want to get a taste of the latest industry education and networking opportunities, we're offering a One-Day Pass for only $295.

Don't delay—register today for Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium now at www.nahb.org/Build4Boomers. [Return to top]
