NAHB's "Revive Housing" Grass Roots Effort

NAHB has begun a consumer awareness program to inform the public that action on four fronts to revive the housing industry will result in positive effects on the economy. Builders are urged to let their Congressional representatives know how extending and improving the first-time buyer tax credit, acting to resolve the AD&C credit crunch and appraisal problems, and extension of NOL carryback provisions will help everyone, not just housing professionals.

You can participate in the “Revive Housing, Restore America” campaign by directing clients and friends to NAHB’s new consumer Web site. Located at www.ReviveHousingNow.com, this page tells consumers why stimulating housing will help restore the economy, how to contact their federal lawmakers and what to say when they do.
