Confused by What the Economy is Doing?

Get the latest and most reliable word from NAHB's Fall Construction Forecast Confrence next month without leaving home. The Conference, held on Wednesday, Oct., 21., will be webcast — for a fee to individuals and companies, or through your local HBA for much less.

There will be up-to-the-minute analysis of the figures and trends from the CFC’s expert speakers, and you'll have the chance to e-mail in your questions. You can watch the webcast live as it happens, or view it at your convenience after it becomes available three business days after the Conference.

Speakers include:

  • Jay Brinkmann of the Mortgage Bankers Association and Douglas Elliott of the Brookings Institution, on Finance
  • Carl Reichardt of Wells Fargo Securities on Industry Structure
  • Mark Zandi of Moody’s Economy.com on Regional Patterns
  • Richard Brown of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Amy Crews Cutts from Freddie Mac, on Prices

Panelists will address key questions including:

  • Will recovery start this fall?
  • What steps should builders and others take now?
  • Will home prices continue to drop?
  • How should builders price to be consistent with the competition?
  • Is now the time to buy land?

Don’t miss hearing essential analysis of this pivotal time in housing’s—and the economy’s—evolution.

Register for the CFC Webcast at www.nahb.org/CFC. Or contact your local HBA to see if they will host the webcast at a reduced cost. The individual purchase price includes unlimited access to the webcast archive for three months and electronic copies of the presentation materials.

Or you could attend the Fall Construction Forecast in person at the National Housing Center in Washington, D.C. Online registration ends Friday, October 9.
