2006 IBS Offers Countless Learning Opportunities On The 50+ Housing Market

Want to learn more about the fastest-growing segment of the housing industry? Make your plans today to attend the 2006 International Builders' Show coming up the week of Jan. 9-14 in Orlando, FL. The NAHB 50+ Housing Council has countless opportunities to increase your knowledge of today's 50+ consumers and build your bottom line.

The first educational opportunity happens right before this year's IBS gets under way. The NAHB 50+ Housing Council's “Designing for the Active Adult” course will be offered twice — first on Monday, Jan. 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and again Tuesday, Jan.10, also from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seating for this preconvention course is limited, so register online now.

In addition, the NAHB 50+ Housing Council will present a full range of education sessions — 31 in all — at the Orange County Convention Center during the show. Highlights include “Successful Universal Design ... Eliminate the Fear Factor,” “Active Adult Sales Boot Camp,” “Multifamily Active Adult Housing — The Future Is Now,” and “What Women Want — 55+ Edition.”

Six “Meet the Experts” sessions will be held throughout the show, where you can hear from industry leaders about topics like “Selling to the Active Adult,” “Active Adult Housing Trends,” Active Adult Community Design & Exterior Architecture, and much more.
