It's Not Too Late to Attend Building for Boomers & Beyond

To compete in the 50+ housing industry, builders can’t focus on today. They have to understand the evolving market and look ahead to the future.

Find out where the market is headed at Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium 2006, the nation’s premier education and networking conference for industry professionals who serve the 50+ housing market, coming up April 24-26 in Phoenix.

Although Pre-Registration for the Symposium Ended April 7, You Can Register On Site

Join more than 800 builders, developers, designers and other industry professionals at this year’s Building for Boomers & Beyond conference, presented by the NAHB 50+ Housing Council, to be held at the beautiful Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix.

Phoenix was the site of the first Symposium in 2001 and is the perfect location for the event. After all, this Arizona metropolis is considered the birthplace of the active adult community concept, revolutionizing the industry with Del Webb’s Sun City and other destination communities.

Aside from its ideal venue, the conference features:

  • Nationally Recognized Experts — Keynote speaker Neil Howe, a best-selling author and renowned authority on generations in America, and former Del Webb CEO and president LeRoy C. Hanneman Jr. are just a few of the high-powered speakers on hand in more than 25 education sessions. Check out the Symposium brochure for a complete list of speakers.
  • Opportunities to Earn a Professional Designation — If you are trying to earn your Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designation, sign up for “Working With and Marketing to Older Adults,” “Home Modifications” or “Business Management for Building Professionals.” Or get a leg up on earning your Active Adult designation by enrolling in “Designing for the Active Adults,” another pre-conference course.
  • Networking Opportunities — Mingle with your peers in the 50+ housing industry at networking events, the Build-PAC reception, and on the exhibit floor, where you can see the hottest products and services.
  • Plenty of Opportunities to Relax and Have Fun — Register for the Off-Road Desert Adventure, enjoy the hotel’s panoramic views and many amenities or play a round of golf at the hotel’s Lookout Mountain Golf Club, ranked by Golf Digest as one of the best public courses in the U.S.
