Hot Topics: The Latest 50+ Research Has Landed

The first two chapters of the Profile of the 50+ Housing Market are up and ready to download at www.nahb.org/50plusresearch. The Profile, which will eventually have seven chapters, examines the many facets of the 50+ housing market — everything from demographics to mobility to neighborhood attributes and types of homes.

Chapter 1: 50+ Demographics covers all-important basics like how many 50+ households there are, what types they are, and how long residents been at the same address.

Chapter 2: 50+ Income and Wealth looks at tendency to work, income, equity, and more. The information is based on the most current national data, and was compiled by  Paul Emrath, NAHB’s Assistant Staff Vice President of Policy Research.

This research was created for and is ONLY available to 50+ Housing Council members.
