Green Building Legislative Toolkit Now Online
The "NAHB Green Building Legislative Reponses" toolkit is now available to members online.

The toolkit, originally released as a book at the 2007 State and Local Government Affairs Conference, serves as a primer on green building and the tools and resources available through NAHB.  It also contains talking points to help frame the issue for local policymakers, an action strategy plan for your campaign and legislative responses.

In addition to providing guidance on organizing your HBA’s response to proposed green building mandates, this resource will help you to raise awareness about the issue amoung your membership.  Builder and industry support is essential to successfully influence regulatory or legislative process.
