Now Accepting Nominations for 2004 SLGA Recognition Awards

NAHB's State & Local Government Affairs Department is now accepting applications for the 14th annual SLGA  Recognition Awards Program. Nominees may include elected or public officials who have gone to bat for the home building industry, or a particularly innovative or successful government affairs initiative undertaken by a local or state home builders association.SLGA Recognition Awards logo

More specifically, nominations can be made in several categories, including

  • State Official of the Year
  • Local Official of the Year
  • Government Affairs Program Achievement - State Association
  • Government Affairs Program Achievement - Local Association
  • Smart Growth Program Achievement

Entries will be accepted until November 12, 2004.

Nominations will be judged by a panel made up of SLGA Committee members, executive officers and government affairs professionals from state and local associations, and honorees will be recognized at a special awards breakfast held in conjunction with the International Builders' Show in Orlando.
