  Letter from the President
Congratulations on completing another year of school, particularly to our recent graduates. As part of the home building industry, we at HBI eagerly await your graduation and hope that you have made the choice to remain in our lucrative industry for years to come. And of course, we wish you great success in your summer endeavors as well.

While the summer can be a great time to travel, relax, or even catch up with your classes, we hope you remember that NAHB and HBI continue to move forward. Your membership in NAHB gives you access to vast networks of resources and we encourage you to take advantage of your affiliation and its benefits as often as possible.

This edition of Building Futures highlights some of HBI's student-oriented activities taking place this year. From National Youth Service Day efforts and Superintendent Designation courses to a new internship program for Hispanic students, HBI is working to expand and diversify its programs to keep pace with the growth and advancements in our industry.

As a member of NAHB, you're part of something special. Again, good luck and have a great summer.

Sincerely,

Frederick Humphreys
