National Housing Endowment Lee Evans Scholarship Announcement

College students have always been forced to make tough choices about their future very early on.  College is fundamentally about choice, from selecting courses to mapping out educational paths, the institution itself can be a daunting obstacle for students.  This, coupled with the dizzying amount of schoolwork already in the pipeline, can make for a stressful academic career.  Eclipsing all of these problems, however, is the age-old dilemma of paying for your education.  It is the most basic – and often most frustrating – challenge students face today.

The National Housing Endowment is committed to providing the financial stepping stones for a new generation of Home Builders as they pursue their higher education.  It goes without saying that providing Americans with places to live and homes to call their own is incredibly important, and ensuring the continued growth of the industry is something the Endowment takes very seriously.

With this in mind, the Endowment has numerous scholarships designed to help those in need pay for the education they worked so hard to cultivate.  There is no limit to how many scholarships you can apply for, and you can reapply for them year after year.  With good grades and verifiable financial need, you have a tremendous chance to qualify for these scholarship awards.  Considering the number of scholarships funds and the large amount of award money available, there is no reason not to apply!

The next scholarship deadline, for the Lee S. Evans Scholarship, is December 7th, 2007.  Applicants can be awarded scholarships as high as $5,000.  You must currently be enrolled in a college or university (high school seniors are not eligible), and you must have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in residential construction after graduation to qualify.

The opportunity to benefit from these generous scholarships is entirely in your hands.  A little legwork and some of your time can be rewarded with thousands of dollars in free scholarship money!
