WIPP Unveils Economic Blueprint
Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) recently released the Economic Blueprint: The Women Business Owners' Platform for Growth. Unveiled at the Democratic and Republican Conventions, the Blueprint is a call to action to the incoming administration and to Congress on the six areas that are essential to women business owners’ economic growth: healthcare, procurement, taxes, access to capital, energy and telecommunications.

The Blueprint lays out key principles designed to provide the economic stimulus needed to grow women-owned businesses, provide jobs, increase the GDP and unleash the full potential of women-owned and small businesses. WIPP and its major partners, Count Me In, SBTV.com, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), Women’s Leadership Exchange (WLE), and Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) are using the Blueprint to urge Congress to adopt policies that will ensure the success of women-owned businesses.
